My project communicates the process of sin and forgiveness. I had my sins (the things I regretted doing in life) tattooed on my back in a poetic list. The tattoo was done without ink, so that it would heal afterwards.
The process of getting these deeds tattooed shows the pain you feel when you accept that you did something wrong.
Because the tattoo was done without ink, the little wounds heal after time. Every 4 hours I made a picture of the process of healing. The animation in the end is a selection from those pictures and symbolizes the forgiveness you can give yourself if you face the fact that you are not perfect.
